Quality Standard
The Glasgow Futures Quality Standard (GFQS) has been shaped by people with lived experience of using employability services in Glasgow. Their insight sits at the heart of it, helping to make sure it reflects real experiences and what good support looks like in practice.
The GFQS is awarded to organisations that can show they meet its six key commitments and indicators. These set out what’s expected to deliver a high-quality, person-centered employability service.
We know that everyone’s journey into work is different. That’s why the Quality Standard recognises that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. Instead, it encourages tailored support that responds to individual needs and helps people move into meaningful, sustainable employment.
For people across Glasgow, the GFQS helps promote fair, inclusive, and high-quality employability support. In doing so, it plays an important role in supporting stronger communities and a healthier local economy.
