All in Glasgow - Disability & Health

All in Glasgow – Disability & Health is a specialist employability programme supporting people with disabilities and long-term health conditions across Glasgow. Led by Enable Works in partnership with SAMH, GAMH, and GECCo, the programme provides high-quality, person-centred support to help individuals achieve sustainable employment and career progression.

AIG Disability & Health Service has supported 171 individuals into employment with a 73% sustainment rate at 1 year, highlighting the impact of individualised, end to end, person centred approach.

Our delivery model operates on a “no wrong door” basis, promoting empowerment, social inclusion, dignity, and respect. We provide an end-to-end personalised service that is consistent, and responsive to the changing needs of each individual.

Our experienced and highly trained staff bring the skills, qualifications, values, and creativity required to support clients with diverse and complex needs. We also support individuals who are already in employment or underemployed, offering access to the same high-quality training and development opportunities as those seeking work.

Person-Centred Model

Our service is grounded in a person-centred approach, recognising that each client’s journey is unique. We use Vocational Profiling to allow us to develop insights into the individual’s skills, abilities, interests, and aspirations. This enables us to develop tailored action plans aligned with each client’s goals.

Employer Engagement

We provide support with job applications including researching appropriate sectors and job roles. We support clients with their skills, CV development and preparation for interviews, liaising with employers if adjustments are needed. We promote fair work and support employers to understand the benefits of having a diverse workforce and offer flexible working opportunities

Once an employment opportunity is identified, we conduct an in-depth job analysis based on the job description. This process helps identify any reasonable adjustments and ensures clarity around expectations.

In-Work Support

After the client has settled into their role, support is gradually reduced to encourage natural workplace relationships and independence. However, we remain on hand to help mitigate any issues and support ongoing development and progression.

All in Glasgow – Disability & Health demonstrates that when people receive the right support, at the right time, sustainable employment is achievable. By combining person-centred approach, meaningful employer engagement, and ongoing in-work support, we create inclusive and accessible career opportunities for the people we support.
